Terri Symington draws upon a lifetime of passion and experience with the arts ...  from being a dancer with a Houston ballet/jazz company, fashion illustrator, art director with a well-known fashion/home furnishings company ... and an award-winning interior designer and Professional member of ASID.

Terri now focuses her creative attention and energy on her painting and figurative work, which is mostly self-taught.  She maintains studios in both Houston and Switzerland where she divides her time.  Her work is quickly gaining attention.  Her work was included in a group online show with Artsy in 2018 “The New Nude” and in the publicized book through “PoetsArtists”, a curated group of mostly figurative-realism artists, even though Terri’s work is more in the impressionistic category.  She has also been a featured artist on the Artsy Shark online art magazine platform.  Terri is currently represented by an art gallery within the Houston Design Center, which is open to the design trade as well as the public.
