Alyssa Fields is a representational oil painter who uses symbolism and narrative to convey the subject of vulnerability and intimacy. She has participated in several group exhibitions including Laguna Beach Art Museum, in Laguna Beach, CA, Brea Gallery in Brea, CA, and AHHA Gallery in Tulsa, OK. She holds an MFA from Laguna College of Art and Design and currently resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

 “My paintings feature female figures and symbolic objects associated with exploring self-acceptance, love, and sensuality. I often paint the subject in a gentle, realistic way that is paired with energetic and expressive brushstrokes. This is done as a representation of my own personal mixed emotions that come with embracing vulnerability and intimacy after trauma and disconnect. I paint the human figure to better connect with these emotions and gain strength from them.
