Victoria von Kap-herr
Classically trained, with a background in illustration, Victoria von Kap-herr has fashioned a distinctive style that is very much her own. A two-year animation study honed her ability to portray natural movement and established her as an illustrator and designer in the United States. Later, living in Florence, she expanded her skills under the tutelage of renowned classical painter Charles Cecil. Like her idol, John Singer Sargent, Victoria is devoted to masterfully yet subtly capturing the mood of her subjects on paper or canvas. She next moved to Berlin, where she immersed herself in German romanticism and the mysterious underpinnings of European Symbolism. Victoria currently lives and creates in Vienna, drawn by her ancestry and the mythic art of the Secession.
