Regan Reichert: At 23 years old, Reichert has only been painting for a few years. He started a serious interest in oil painting while he was in High School. He sought out prominent artists to teach mentor him. He has won many awards in prestigious Art Shows. He focuses primarily on portraiture and figurative painting, following the techniques of the great masters.

A highly awarded artist and Utah native Regan Reichert.  Whom according to Highland City Arts, has “studied privately with painters including Dan Wilson, Casey Childs, and the late Bill Whitaker.” His works express the beauty of the individual.

Artist Statement

“Each person is so unique with so many experiences and stories that make them who they are. While painting an individual, whether it be in a portrait or a narrative figure painting, I strive to capture that persons’ history. I strive to lay the paint in a way that captures their personality, adding to the visual experience of knowing them,” says Reichert.

“Having studied personally under many of Utah’s greatest portrait and figure painters, including Dan Wilson, Casey Childs, and the late William Whitaker, I have learned to approach painting in the way that many of the old masters have done and by so doing continue the tradition of classical representational painting. Weaving my own personality into each piece, I immortalize in paint my concepts and subjects for people to enjoy even hundreds of years from now.”
