Narelle Zeller is an award winning Australian representational artist, best known for her highly detailed figurative and still-life paintings. With her practice dedicated to realism, Narelle works exclusively with oil paint. Her refined paintings explore the beauty of the human condition and our connection to the natural environment as well as contemporary stories of time and place. Narelle aims to convey an authentic and honest representation of every subject she paints, her process allowing her to slow down and take the time to appreciate every element - inviting the viewer to look closely with her.
Narelle achieved her art education by way of completing workshops and mentorship programs with world-renowned artists. She has been an award winner and finalist in multiple prestigious national and international awards, such as the International Arc Salon, ModPortrait, Darling Portrait Prize, International Biennial Portrait Competition, Lester Prize for Portraiture and Shirley Hannan National Portrait Award. Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally.
