Jose Miguel Roman Frances was born on January 2, 1950. Roman    Frances, in 1965 presented his first painting at the Salond'Automne in Alcoy. Later he moved to Madrid where he remained for 5 years, this time full cultural effervescence of the country will define his future path. Valencian painters, especially Sorolla (Navarro, Pinazo ...) and Alcoyanos late nineteenth century exercise in his new approaches.

In 1978 he travels to the United States and later to Mexico where he remained a long season, successfully performs different exhibitions. From this experience he launched shows in France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Monaco, Japan and the United States.
