Deborah Scott

Deborah Scott is an artist/painter dedicated to creating visually engaging figurative works. Scott left a successful business career managing multinational brands, including Cheerios, Betty Crocker, and Amazon.com, to follow her true calling and enrolled in the Contemporary Painting and Drawing Atelier at Gage Academy of Art.

Since then, Deborah Scott has become known for her figurative and portraiture works, which combine classical painting techniques with contemporary iconography drawn from personal biographies and archetypes. Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries in Seattle, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and New Orleans, as well as museums, including the Fort Wayne Museum of Art Contemporary Realism Biennial, the Floridan Museum of Women Artists and the Whatcom Museum. In addition, she has been featured in numerous art publications, including Poets Artists, the International Painting Annual, the Huffington Post, and Juxtapose. Scott’s artwork appears in private and institutional collections in the US and Europe.
